Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 28th 2025

1. Program Overview
Schroeder Counseling offers a range of court-approved, evidence-based programs and services—delivered mostly online via secure Zoom—including substance abuse assessments, alcohol education, driver’s license evaluations, anger management, domestic violence, outpatient counseling, and economic crime courses. Services are facilitated by credentialed professionals who guide participants through structured sessions that meet legal and personal development requirements.

2. Eligibility & Referrals
Before enrolling, participants must confirm with their referring agency—such as a court, probation officer, or employer—that the specific service will satisfy their requirement. Schroeder Counseling is not responsible if a service is not accepted by external authorities.

3. Scheduling & Participation
Participants select and purchase the required service program, then schedule live sessions via Zoom at times that fit their schedule. Attendance is verified in real time, and participants are expected to engage fully in the sessions.

4. Progress Tracking & Certificate of Completion
Time and participation are tracked during Zoom sessions. Upon fulfilling the required number of hours or completing the program, participants receive an official certificate—typically the same day—available via email or within their account dashboard. The certificate includes the participant’s name, date of birth, program title, hours completed, and completion date; a physical version may be requested and may include an embossed seal.

5. Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after enrollment, regardless of acceptance by any court, probation officer, or agency.

6. Account Responsibility
Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for ensuring that all hours completed are personally earned. Misuse of the platform, including fraudulent time logging, may result in removal without refund and notification to referring agencies if applicable.

7. Code of Conduct
Honest, respectful interaction with instructors and adherence to program guidelines is required. Schroeder Counseling reserves the right to revoke access for any conduct deemed unprofessional or in violation of program standards.

8. Limitation of Liability
While Schroeder Counseling’s programs are widely accepted by courts, employers, and agencies, acceptance is ultimately determined by external authorities. The company is not liable for consequences arising from non-acceptance or disputes regarding certificate validity.

9. Amendments
Schroeder Counseling reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
